Mini Happenings in September

It has been a busy month for the M.A.D.M.E.N.

We started the month at Mini of Tucson to enjoy donuts and coffee. As it has been done for generations, the men of the group and the women of the group retreated to their separate, but equal, corners to have separate, but equal, discussions. The women met to discuss next year’s calendar and the men…….probably something about cars. (One of them was under a mini looking at the muffler at one point.) After all that discussing and sleuthing, we all broke to run errands and eat more breakfast (donuts only take you so far, friends).

We met at Tiny’s for dinner on the 15th enjoying conversation and hamburgers.

On the 17th, we met at Mini of Tucson to pick up the donated dog food and deliver it to the two shelters. There is nothing better than taking your mini out for a drive with a purpose. Unless, it’s taking your mini out for a drive without a purpose.

For our scheduled drive on the last Saturday of the month, we drove to Mt. Graham. Breakfast was at the TTT, lunch was a picnic, driving was great fun, and dinner was shared by all at the camp site. We also made a side trip to the Salsa festival in Safford and Apple Annie’s. When a bunch of Minis get together, one never knows what will happen.

Join us next month for the first Saturday at Mini of Tucson for conversation and donuts. Dinner on October 13 will be at Lil Anthony’s and for our Halloween drive, we are going to the Pumpkin Fest in Carefree (more in depth information to follow). We would love it if you would join us next month for one or all of our fun activities. The more, the merrier!

Peace and happy motoring.
