We will be departing from the Shell station at I-10 and Wilmot Road (exit 269) at 8am Saturday morning. Silver City has so many things to do and see that you might need more than a weekend. In addition to all the natural beauty of the area and the thriving art scene, the Copper Country Car Show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

We plan to run up the road to the Gila Wilderness. Pack your overnight bag and plan on staying in Silver City if you don’t want to drive home in the dark. Check other posts below or lodging ideas.
