I've always used Chas-Roberts and they've always been fair with me on a few repairs over the years. Use them for the system check-ups every other year too.

I know I'm weeks late in replying to this, but I'm so happy with my A/C guy, that I thought I'd share here for anyone else who may be in need over the summer. Our A/C went out last year a few days before we left for vacation. Chas Roberts and the other 'big guys' all had 3-7 day waits. Not in this heat!!!

I contacted Shawn, at Custom Cooling. (623-412-2655). He came out the same day, determined the problem, and got it fixed by the next day. He took the time to contact the manufacturer of our A/C unit to determine if the broken part was still under warranty (it was!), saving us lots of coin. They also cap their labor charges (another big $ savings). He works weekends, too.

I would also recommend contacting him to do a A/C tune-up every 2 years, to keep your A/C unit from crapping out on the hottest day of the year. A little preventative 'medicine' goes a LONG way in this heat.
