MINI OIL Change Day

Postby Haphazard » Tue May 27, 2008 1:56 am

So I was hoping someone could offer assistance in helping me change my oil I am not sure what tools are needed I've heard a big hammer for one :) actually a 36mm socket? I purchased an oil filter from Autozone and I have 5 quarts of synthetic I noticed there was a Oil Change day on the 4th of May I unfortunately missed that day, anyway we can have another ? or maybe somewhere I can take my little beast...

I live at 87th\Olive

I would help but I don't think I would know how to fit under the car.

Because of the popularity of the last one, we are talking about a "Garage Day", but have yet to put together a location and date just yet unfortunately.

What year of Mini do you have? This is a good how-to for the R53.

I would be willing to host one at my house in the future. We won't be in until July 1 but I'll have a 2 car garage that I may convert to a 3 car and a pool to cool off in.

I have an 04 Mini - Gold - if anyone could offer assistance I would only need to be shown once on how to change the oil.
