Mini Takes The States II - 2008 Dates Announced

Just received this tonight, the dates and locales for the four Mini Takes The States 2008 Events. Looks like a road trip to LA in July!

Greetings everyone,

As we all need to plan our vacations this year, we at MC2 have been told by our friends that the dates for MTTS Part II are as follows:

Miami, FL. June 13-15.

Boston, MA. June 20-22

Chicago, IL. July 25-27 (updated 3/14/08)

Los Angeles, CA. August 1-3 (updated 3/14/08)

The Miami and Boston dates and locations are 100% locked down, but our info on Chicago and LA are not yet concrete, as MINI is still working on these times and locations. We feel they're secure enough to inform everyone at this time.

Just what they're planning at these locations, we don't know for sure, but we will get back to you ASAP when we know more. Until then, we cannot reveal anything greater than we write here.

We will be at all three events with staff and support team of writers, photographers and video team, so do let us see your classic and new mini if it's worth featuring in MC2.

Still wish that they had opted for the epic cross country road trip rally that 2006 was but... oh well.

I'll be there! :D .....excuse me. WE WILL BE THERE!

New Dates for MTTS 2008

Just got an email from MINI USA saying the dates for Los Angeles are now August 1-3, 2008, the weekend before Minis in the Mountains. Decisions, decisions, decisions...............

Yep, July date also moved for Chicago.

Confirmed dates as of today from MiniUSA

Miami, FL. June 13-15.
Boston, MA. June 20-22
Chicago, IL. July 25-27 (updated 3/14)
Los Angeles, CA. August 1-3 (updated 3/14) (Weekend prior to Minis in the Mountains)

Yeah, doesn't seem smart from a regional stand-point having it the prior weekend, but from a traveling from the east perspective, MITM would make a nice stop on the way home from MTTS.
