Would you attend a driving school

Postby Adis Daddy » Fri May 06, 2005 5:13 am

I am currently speaking with two sanctioned racing organizations and trying to come up with a price for a group driving experience.

I have posted a poll and would like to discuss it at the annual meeting on Saturday. Please vote.

Would it be very wise of me to do a driving school with 18x7.5" rims?

Maybe Todd can answer that better. I don't think anything is going to affect your experience unless you are going to race. Albeit, some of us want the "racing experience" and again some of us are unrealistic wanna-bes but the point is to get out and see what you and your car can do, LEGALLY and SAFELY. 8)

Sounds great!
I took the Bondurant Race Class a long time ago and it was a blast. We drove those little open-wheel formula cars at PIR.
I'd love to take a class with the MINI.

If you still have your stock wheels they might be a wiser choice. I saw a Mini bend a wheel at the track when he went off-road. Your 18"s are probably expensive to replace. You will also wear the heck out of your front tires.
