We always drive that way when we go to Tucson. Nice with zero big rigs.

Yep, have taken 79 back into town on the bike many times after the loop through Winkelman, since I-10 SUCKS, hehe.

That stretch of 79 is also the road where the famous early western star Tom Mix was killed, hauling ass in his 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton and was not able to stop in time coming up on some road construction.
