im not sure where that clip goes
but it should be number 29 in the link that hooks the cable up to the carb
http://www.minispares.com/catalogues/cl ... spx?1~6~58or number 10 in this link
http://www.minispares.com/catalogues/cl ... x?2~12~118I think the part I need is the same one that is used for the heater valve cable on the engine, and with the weather we have right now, don't really need a heater

Ah! That's known as the "Trunion" on this side of the pond.
A little part with a big job!

Drove the lhd mini to Yuma and staying the night
Turns out the headlights didn't work because the connectors where it T's off at the front panel
Was bad, ez fix
My turn signals and 4 ways don't work
I know the flasher for the turn signal is bad
And the flasher for the haz isn't hooked up
But the turn signal will be ez to make work
And the idle was at like 1500rpm, lowered it down to
1k
And the car drove nice,
In the mountains the car didn't like it
But never got hot, I did like 80km
And then flat highway rolled at 110km
And if I had to pass the car pulled nice to
135km
It's a Germany spec car, I'm not really sure how fast I was going
But I think 100km is about 60mph

I think the clutch went out on the car, its not wanting to disengage the clutch anymore
well, I guess the good thing was that it didn't brake down on the road
bad part is, I need to buy a clutch kit and take the few hours to swap it out
its a verto clutch and the pedal is going down to the floor and its not leaking oil from the slave or master
looking online
mini mania wants $240 plus shipping
7 ent wants $209 plus shipping
gbcar parts $190 plus shipping
dsn classic, 100GBP and flat rate shipping if it will fit in a USPS flat rate box

If the slave is not moving it is probably the master. Maybe just new seals and a light hone would get you moving.

the slave moves about a inch
I adjusted the plunger nuts and now the clutch has travel
the radiator is leaking at the lower cap

i started to JB weld the radiator but its pretty bad, the lower cap and the lower outlet, so I ended up ordering an alloy radiator for the car, and I will have it next week sometime

Got the radiator installed this afternoon and messed around with the clutch,
Removed the old oil from the clutch master
And put some new stuff in and
Bleed it out to what seemed like a million times
While keeping the level in the master good
And now the clutch pedal feels a ton bit harder to push
And the slave is movng out about a inch to 1.25 inch
And the box is shifting smooth like it should
We'll see if this thing holds pressure for my drive to work tomorrow
