Just an update: Got engine bolted down, supercharger front end oil was LOW, I mean we emptied a whole 4 oz of GM s/c oil into it. The next day (wednesday) took bumper off, radiator, and hoses loosed from intake, water pump off... Wow, that was a lot of work just to check the rear end supercharger oil resivoir and finally! All is WELL there. Today is water pump o-ring replacement which Merle's has for a couple bucks. .... .... Hey does this club have t-shirts?
See ya for now

Glad to hear your repairs are coming along!

As for club apparel, we do order a large batch of shirts every year or so, but we also have our own Swag Store through Lands End, where you can order anything from a basic T-Shirt to a hat to polo shirts to jackets.

Every month or so Lands End runs a free shipping and/or free logos deal if your not in a hurry, otherwise go ahead and check out the store and get some swag on order!

Complete info on the logos and link to the swag store is here in the members area of the forum:

Or if you just want to go straight there, this is the ink to the store:

UPDATE: Replaced the o-rings on the water pump. The Bentley manual says to use a lubricant called synth something.... Glup 1.. Can

And aren't you glad you checked the SC oil? I would say to keep that on your list of regular maintenance items for the future, especially now that you have the 15% pulley on it.

UPDATE: accept no substitutes when replacing the o-rings on the water pump flange. GET THESE O-RINGS FROM MINI! My aftermarket o-rings leaked at the flange. Had to replace them. ALSO, do NOT use a silcon based grease to lubricate these o-rings as it messes them up per the service foreman at Mini of tempe. Wow, what a lesson. ;)
