CoopahS @ 100,000 Miles!

Our 2005 Mini Cooper S, that we picked up from Moritz Mini in Arlington, TX on June 10th, 2005 turned 100,000 miles this morning.

From and including: Friday, June 10, 2005
To and including: Wednesday, November 26, 2008

It is 1266 days from the start date to the end date, end date included
Or 3 years, 5 months, 17 days including the end date

Soooo, how do you put 100k+ miles on your Mini in not quite 3 1/2 years?
Well, you average 79 miles per day (according to the geek calculations above) and you find a great group of people to enjoy them with.

How we got here! :) If your still on dial-up, or a slow internet connection, my apologies. :)

Great retrospective of our first 100K miles in the Little Guy, babe! That brought back lots of good memories and reminded me how much I miss Trace and Bob.

Hehe, yeah, going through all the photos over the years was fun. Even knowing i was missing photos from a number of events, it still made a nice chronological history of some other club members Minis too.

On the other hand.....
Did the math for our car: 56,000 miles since May 2003:
27.9 miles per day

Well, staying within the Tempe borders kinda limits your mileage opportunity!! hehe...

Wow... First I can't believe you are at 100k. Those pictures were awesome and I see me in quite a few. If all of you remember Dan picked up his car 1 week before I picked up mine.

We spent a lot of those miles with you,.. 49,000 to be exact. Thats how many miles I had on my car when I left AZ. Now I am at 62,000

I MISS ALL OF YOU SO MUCH!!!
Seeing those pictures brought a tear to my eye.

No other club will ever replace the friendships we found with DMC.

I will be coming back in January for a bday party.
My daughter is turning 21 and hell freezing over will be the only way I am not going to be with her.

I will be planning a surprise bday party for her and hope to share information soon.

Something new will find a home in our garage, but like they say, there is nothing like your first one/time...
