It’s Pumpkin Time Again!

My favorite Halloween shows are “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “Halloween Wars”. For our end of the month run (that also happens to be very close to Halloween) we are going to combine the two of them along with breakfast and a long drive. What could be better? Did I mention that the breakfast place I have picked serves Pumpkin Pancakes? A trifecta!

We will meet at the Cracker Barrel in Tucson at 7:30ish on October 29 where we will dine on a variety of mouth watering breakfast treats, including Pumpkin Pancakes.

After breakfast, we will meet in the parking lot to have a small driver’s meeting. I will hand out maps and stickers for your passports.

After the meeting, we will get into our favorite mode of transportation and take a long trip to Carefree, AZ (101 Easy Street, Carefree, AZ) where we will be visiting the Great Pumpkin Patch. How does Halloween Wars come into play? Glad you asked. The carvings in the patch are all done by a former star of Halloween Wars – pumpkin carver extraordinaire – Ray Villafane! As an added bonus, the website says that he will be in the pumpkin patch on the day of our visit.
