Mission Run
Meet at Seis Restaurant 130 S. Avenida del Covento at 8:00 am. After an amazing breakfast, we will motor over Gates Pass and drive through the wonders of the Saguaro National Park. We will meet up at San Xavier del Bac for a picture of the group. We will be here about an hour, so you’ll have time to take the museum tour or simply walk the grounds. Our next stop is the Titan Missile Museum. There is a one hour tour that is provided at the top of each hour. You are welcome to take that tour, if you wish. Not recommended for those who can’t climb stairs or are claustrophobic. Next stop is Tumacacori. Finally, we will meet for a late lunch at the Cow Palace in Amado. Bring your passports as stickers will be provided. Maps and interesting tidbits will be provided at the beginning of the trip along with a couple of questions about each site. Write down your answers and we will collect them at our lunch site. There will be prizes for the most correct answers, so pay close attention. Happy Motoring! See y’all at breakfast.
