Sierra
Vista MiNis,
in Sierra Vista, AZ, was the first official chapter of the DMC. We are
all about the fun run. We love to drive anywhere and hang out and talk
mini. It could be a half hour or all day long, it doesn’t matter. The
name Sierra Vista MiNis came about around the time of the first “A Mini
Vacation in Vegas” trip. At that time there were no chapters or DMC. We
used the name for one of the events and it just sort of stuck. As
always, we’re on the look-out for future members.
M.A.D.M.E.N.
(Motoring And Dining Mini Enthusiasts Network), the Tucson, AZ chapter
of the DMC, is always looking to welcome new Mini
enthusiasts. As our name states, we love to dine and to motor, though
not simultaneously. We may have the reputation of being 'older and more
sedate' than other chapters, but that's really just a rumor! We stress
safety on our drives, and quite a large portion of our monthly meetings
is given over to discussion of good places to drive and Mini
modifications.
Desert Rat
Pack (DRP),
in Phoenix, AZ, was around before there was a Dynamic MiNi Collective.
It was a group of folks with a common interest in Minis, both classic
and new. Many of the members of the DMC were once part of the DRP.
Today, the DRP is still a diverse group of Mini enthusiasts in the
Phoenix area. We’re the largest chapter of the DMC and growing. Our
strength is in our diversity—our members have many different interests
yet we all have one thing in common, our Minis.
